In less than a year Labour’s Family Farm Tax will jeopardise our country’s food security, and push up the price you pay for food at the shops.
Farmers will be forced to sell up to pay a crippling inheritance tax bill, in many cases selling farms that have been in their families for generations.
And while the tax is still 11 months away, the uncertainty and anxiety it’s causing for our farmers is causing real distress right now.
We must come together and urge Labour to change course.
