Nicole AMIL

Local Woman Fighting for Local People
With over 30 years' experience working in Local Government I welcome the opportunity to serve all residents of Cockington with Chelston and Livermead. Strong frontline services, value for money, the protection of community partnerships and ending the rise in bureaucracy are the foundation of my campaign. I support the preservation of Princess Gardens and our invaluable green spaces, and successfully lobbied against the removal of the Cenotaph from Torquay SeafronL I claimed no expenses during my four years as a Torbay Councillor, and am heavily involved in a number of projects in the local community. I support the St Peter's Centre, Queensway, and the Friends of Victoria Park, Chelston. It is a privilege to assist the enthusiastic volunteers of these worthy organisations. I have extensive experience assisting the Armed Forces, Veterans Associations, Torbay Lifeboat the Voluntary Sector, Charities, Schools, Churches, Tourism Industry and Local Businesses. We are proud to have saved the Walnut Road Post Office from closure, and retain its essential services. I am honoured to serve as the Ex-Service Associations Veterans' Champion and actively support the Royal British Legion and the R.B.L. Poppy Appeal. I serve on the Board of the Torbay Care Trust and act as Carers' Champion. I believe in putting patients first and giving a voice to the elderly and vulnerable. If elected, I will LISTEN and ACT for the residents of this Ward. I have the drive, the determination, and my top priority is putting your interests FIRST.
Michael HYTCHE

I have resided in Torbay since 1946, lived in Monterey Close 30 years, a retired builder, a Councillor for 14 years and am still proud to actively serve my Ward to the best of my ability.
My constituents know I am always ready to listen to and help them. I recognise Torbay's natural beauty and micro climate are it's greatest asset on which to build its prosperity and encourage new enterprise.
I will continue to fight the increase in bureaucracy which, at great cost to the Council Tax payer, too often stifles the very progress which it purports to improve.
